Module Two - What Kinds of Thinking Can We Provoke?

In order to meet the goals articulated by the Army's draft regulations on training, written by the Training and Doctrine Command, which of the types of thinking in the cluster diagram below become most important?

Work with your partner to divide them into three lists in your word processor.

  • High priority
  • Medium priority
  • Lower priority
Helping soldiers to be able to deal with "diverse perspectives and critical analysis, abstract reasoning, adaptability, comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty, and innovative thinking, particularly with respect to complex, nonlinear problems."

Next module. Please do not proceed until asked to do so by the workshop leader.
