Module Three - Adult Learning

Adult Learning (Andragogy) is closely allied with the concept of Engaged Learning. In order to make the most profitable use of new technologies to promote the kinds of learning envisioned in the goals of the Training and Doctrine Command, those planning the learning experiences should provide a balance between Andragogy and Pedagogy.

How clear are you in your understanding of the traits of each approach?

Start by making a list of traits for each term in your word processor. Once you and your partner have 4-5 traits for each one, take advantage of Google to read several definitions of "adult learning" and of pedagogy. Use what you learn to amplify, extend and enrich your list of traits.
