| It is tempting to rely on the clip art and the templates that come with presentation programs, but these can be quite limiting.
As soon as possible, we should encourage our students to modify templates and make their own designs. |

| The same is true of clip art. We would hope that students will create their own art work or use a digital camera or make ethical use of graphics from the Web.
Some search engines like Google make searching for images quite easy. Try finding good dam pictures for the Snake River. Click here.
Note the fact that some pictures are for sale. This is when ethical issues arise. |
After your workshop leader demonstrates how to modify a template from within PowerPoint, try making a change to a template yourself.
