Building PBL Units

Module Two - The Importance of Rigor

Which of the following standards for a challenging research project are met by PBL units?

Unlike topical research, which involves little more than scooping and smushing, PBL units ask students to create new meaning by coming up with fresh solutions to issues and problems. This is not about cutting and pasting the ideas of the elders.

Next module. Please do not proceed until asked to do so by the workshop leader.
