Creating Digital Portfolios Worthy
of the Time and Effort

Module Nine - Matchmaking

The secret to building meaningful digital portfolios worthy of the time and effort is the matchmaking process of identifying key curriculum and learning goals worthy of developing rich units that will inspire a series of digital products, performances, exhibits, reports, etc.

The following chart offers a partial list of digital products, performances, exhibits, reports and artifacts worthy of consideration. To the extent possible, it makes sense to create units that require students to create a dozen or more such products, weaving together the insights they gain from analysis until they can begin working on invention, persuasion and communication.

Come up with a unit that has possibilities and then list the artifacts or products that might be required during such a unit.
